Hôtel Bassano

The hotel was in a great location. It also had nearby restaurants, entertainment, and sightseeing. The rooms were small but everything was well positioned making it spacious. The open windows in room were also great! Front desk clerks were helpful throughout our stay. Restaurants nearby made it even more delightful such as Le Speak Easy and the Marceau. Wish we could upload videos but only pictures option. See the city through our eyes.

The hotel is really nice! Located in a quiet street in 6min to the Champ Elysees, 25min from La Tour Eiffel. Room was quite large for Paris standarts, we lived on the 6th floor. Special thanks for the l'occitane cosmetics like a shampoo, a body lotion etc. There was a pot and coffee/tea. Cleaning was top, done every day of a high quality. Breakfast: not a big choice, but everything was fresh and tasty: scramble, fried sousages and bacon, different kinds of french cheese and ham, vegs, lots of fruites, nuts, muesly, traditional sweet and salted pastry. Coffee was good) So we enjoyed it! Special thanks to the receprion lady (sorry, I dont know her name), she was so sweet to help us with any our question. Other advantages: on the ground floor there is a coffee machine and all the staff for tea/coffee which is gratis all the day.

The staff were uniformly friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was immaculate and we had fresh towels and bottles of water every day. The breakfast was an embarrassment of riches. We were glad that we decided to pay extra for the convenience and the amazing array of choices available each morning. We really loved this location. It was easy to get to two nearby Metro stations and plenty of neighborhood restaurants.

I liked the fact that they put effort in everything they offered. Each staff member was cordial and helpful. This building is old as is every building in Paris but has been modernized within the last 5-10 years. The lift worked the entire time we stayed (4 nights). We had a room on the top floor. The lift only goes to the 5th floor (we were on the 6th). The bell hop kindly brought our luggage without being asked to. The air conditioning (independent units per rooms) worked great. It was 90 plus degrees outside. For being on the top floor you would expect it to be working hard and it did just fine. Sheets were changed every day. Breakfast was ready every morning (even though we went elsewhere). Coffee and water available at all times of the day. Front desk was occupied 24/7 and always friendly at ALL times of the day/night (we had some late nights). Overall I would definitely come back and plan to.

Location was excellent. Rooms were generally clean. Not as spacious or new looking as the pictures make it out to be though. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
